Hassan creates NH Drug Overdose Fatality Review Committee
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan has issued an Executive Order setting up a Drug Overdose Fatality Review Committee that will look at trends and patterns of the deaths to assist with policy recommendations.
The committee will make recommendations on allocating state resources and identify high-risk factors, current practices and gaps in systemic responses. It also will work to improve data collection and provide education.
The 15-member committee will include representatives from the attorney general's office; chief medical examiner; police, fire, hospital and other agencies.
