Hancock man Tased after allegedly pointing pistol at officers, firing into ground at ConVal High

PETERBOROUGH - A man from Hancock has been arrested for allegedly pointing a pistol at police officers and firing the weapon into the ground.

According to police, Thomas Heissenberger, 22, got his car stuck on the athletic field of ConVal High School Saturday night.

When officers approached Heissenberger, he pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and began walking toward officers and fired one bullet into the ground.

Officers were able to subdue Heissenberger by using a Taser and charged him with one felony count of criminal threatening, reckless conduct, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.

Heissenberger is being held on $100,000 bail at Valley Street jail in Manchester.
