HAMPTON - Police are asking the public to help them locate a person of interest regarding thefts in the Seacoast area.

Lt. Daniel Gidley said Monday the person is suspected in thefts from vehicles in Hampton and Seabrook. Gidley said credit cards stolen from the cars were used in various stores in those towns.

Police are circulating an image from a surveillance camera of a man with close-cropped hair wearing a red shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampton police Sgt. Steve Champey at (603) 929-4444.

People can also leave information anonymously through the department's crimeline online and select the word Hamptons, text the word "CRIMES" with the keyword "Hamptons", or on the department's Facebook page.
