Hampton McDonald's closes doors after more than 39 years as beach fixture

HAMPTON - The seasonal McDonald's on Ocean Boulevard that has been a local fixture for more than 39 years has permanently closed.

Napoli Group owns the Hampton location and said employees have been given positions at McDonald's also owned by them.

Jeremy Hinton, president and director of operations at Napoli Group, thanked the community for its support.

"The community of Hampton Beach and all of its residents have been great to us," Hinton said. "We would like to thank all of our customers for their loyal patronage."

Signs at the location have been removed and the exterior brick and shingles on the roof have been painted gray.

Hinton said Napoli Group does not know about future plans for the land.
