Halftime Report: Patriots trail Seahawks 19-14 during Super Bowl rematch

FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots (7-1) trailed the Seattle Seahawks (5-2-1) 19-14 at halftime of the Week 10 Sunday Night Football matchup.

The game marked the first time the two teams have met since Super Bowl XLIX, when an interception by Malcolm Butler at the end of the game sealed the win for New England.

The Patriots were also coming off their bye-week, which came right in the middle of the regular season.

Running back LeGarrette Blount picked up both of the Patriots' touchdowns, rushing one yard into the end zone each time.

Though the Patriots defense only managed one stop during the first half, they sacked Seahawks' quarterback Russell Wilson twice.

Doug Baldwin scored two touchdowns for the Seahawks, receiving 6- and 18-yard touchdown passes from Wilson, the second coming just before halftime.

Sunday was the NFL's Salute to Service Day to honor service men and women just after Veterans' Day.

The team invited several members of the military to take part in the opening ceremonies, and just before going into the locker room before the game, wide receiver Julian Edelman made a point to shake several of their hands, thanking them for their service.
