Hacking of cheating site AshleyMadison.com uncovers users with NH government email addresses
Remember Ashley Madison?
It's the website that encourages users to cheat.
Recently, it was attacked by hackers, and information about all of its users was stolen.
And now it's all posted online - including email addresses.
Public officials have apparently been busy with the site - According to CNN, 6,904 addresses were linked to the Canadian and American governments, plus another 7,239 in the U.S. Army, 3,531 in the Navy, 1,114 Marines and 628 in the Air Force.
Think N.H. officials made it out unscathed? They did not.
Among the millions of international users, N.H. government email domain addresses are believed to be part of the breach.
According to the data posted on pastebin.com, seven users had N.H. government email addresses.
Four were in Manchester, one in Nashua, one in Dover, and another in Milford.
