Gunshots reported again in Manchester, Central High and adult center taking precaution
MANCHESTER — Police are actively investigating a shots-fired call in the area of 263 Manchester Street, according to multiple reports.
Both Central High School and the adult learning center at 521 Maple Street are both in shelter-in-place at this time.
Police are looking for a suspect in possibly tan/khaki shorts, loose with blue boxers and a white tank top or t-shirt. The suspect is described as a light-skinned African-American man with curly hair, in his late 20s, and approximately 5-feet-8-inches tall with a slim build.
Another suspect was described as a person dressed in all black, larger build, with unknown weight, height, or age.
The reports could be the latest gun-related incident in Manchester.
It happens two days after two shootings were reported on Manchester's East Side and less than two weeks after two officers were shot on the West Side.
A man is also still on the loose after stealing a gun from a Manchester taxidermy store last week.
