GREENVILLE - An investigation into a fire that destroyed a home at 55 Adams St. has led to the arrest of one man who lived in the home and is suspected of arson, according to state Fire Marshal J. William Degnan.

James Reardon, 20, is being held at the Hillsborough County jail and is scheduled to appear in Jaffrey District Court on Monday.

The fire was reported Saturday night just after 11 p.m. No one was home and no one was injured, but the house was destroyed in the three-alarm blaze.

A subsequent investigation determined the fire had been purposely set, according to the fire marshal.
