Graffiti defaces New England elementary school with Trump and KKK references
WILDER, Vt. — Police are seeking help from the public about who may be responsible for graffiti painted on the outside of an elementary school referencing Donald Trump and the Ku Klux Klan.
Black spray paint was used to deface the outside of Dothan Brook School sometime between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Hartford Police Department.
The graffiti, which reads “AmeriK.K.K.ans for Trump!,” led to an uproar on the police department’s Facebook page within just a few hours.
The wall was washed immediately, and pressure-washed in an effort to make the words no longer legible.
