Graduation ceremonies being held at UNH, Saint Anselm

CONCORD (AP) — College commencement season marches on in New Hampshire, with graduation ceremonies being held Saturday at the University of New Hampshire, Saint Anselm College and Nashua Community College.

About 2,500 students are graduating from UNH, while St. Anselm will confer degrees on 432.

White Mountain Community College, River Valley Community College and NHTI Concord's Community College held commencements on Friday. The University of New Hampshire at Manchester awarded 140 undergraduate and 40 graduate degrees on Thursday.

The New Hampshire Institute of Art holds its commencement ceremony on Sunday.

The New Hampshire College and University Council says additional colleges in the state will hold commencements in the coming weeks, with Dartmouth College capping off the season on June 12. NHCUC president Thomas Horgan says more than 19,000 students statewide are receiving degrees.
