Gov. Sununu welcomes New England Patriots' Super Bowl LI Lombardi Trophy
CONCORD — Governor Chris Sununu welcomed the New England Patriots' Super Bowl LI Lombardi Trophy to the Statehouse for a public viewing and photo reception.
Residents from New Hampshire lined up to catch a glimpse of the trophy, some even waiting for almost four hours.
"It was well worth four hours in waiting for us here," a Patriots fan said as she waited in line.
The Bedford High School Bulldogs football team also got an opportunity to take a picture with the trophy and Gov. Sununu while sporting their own championship rings.
Accompanying the Lombardi Trophy were the team mascot 'Pat Patriot' and Patriots Cheerleader Courtney Lamont.
