Gov. Hassan to address NH's high tech industry

MANCHESTER (AP) — Gov. Maggie Hassan is going to discuss the state's growing high tech industry.

She's planning to talk at the opening of a new software company in Manchester on Wednesday.

Retrieve Technologies has moved into a 10,000-square-foot mill space.

The company has developed a video communications platform for businesses to share information and improve training. It plans to create 50 to 80 jobs.

The high tech industry has about 45,000 jobs in New Hampshire. State figures show that the sector accounts for about 9 percent of the state's gross domestic product.
