Gorham man to spent 35 years in prison after guilty plea in April shooting

GORHAM - A Gorham man will spend 35 years in prison for his role in the deadly shooting death of a man in April.

25-year-old Christopher Drouin plead guilty to the charges of second-degree murder Wednesday.

Drouin was accused of killing 27-year-old Michael Welch last spring in a Gorham park.

Drouin also plead guilty to the attempted murder charge of another man who was with Welch at the time of the shooting.
