Google Translate features to be used for Nashua's public transportation

NASHUA — The city just announced the launch of its Google Translate feature on all NTS fixed route and paratransit buses.

The technology is used to enhance the customer experience by giving those with language barriers the ability to communicate with their drivers without having to find an interpreter.

NTS has multiple resources to communicate with their passengers like ride guides that are available in other languages.

“With the growing diversity in our community this new feature makes it even easier for people to utilize transit as a way to get around our city” said Raymond Blethen, the General Manager for First Transit who operates the NTS buses for the City of Nashua.
