Goodwin not to appeal revocation of millions of dollars from 91-year-old's will

PORTSMOUTH - A former Portsmouth police officer will not appeal a judge’s order removing him as the recipient of an elderly woman’s estate worth more than million dollars.

Former Portsmouth police officer Aaron Goodwin had been named the recipient of a will written in 2012 by 91-year old Geraldine Webber. A judge ruled last month the will was void.

He had until today to file an appeal of the order in Probate court but did not.

An attorney for the family told NH1 that a will written in 2009 will be the one that will go into effect.

In that will, Webber leaves $240,000 to a high school in Braintree, Mass.
