Goffstown pair accused of threatening multiple residents at their doorsteps with guns
GOFFSTOWN - A pair from Goffstown has been arrested for going around to multiple homes and threatening residents with guns in an attempt to recover stolen property after a burglary at their own home Monday.
Police charged 28- year- old Edward M. “Eddie” Jordan and 28-year-old Sarah (Thibeault) Jordan both of Goffstown with multiple counts of criminal threatening (charged as Class B felonies due to the alleged use of a firearm) and multiple counts of reckless conduct (also Class B felonies because of the alleged use of a firearm).
Evidence showed that the Jordans were victims of an alleged burglary at their home on Daniel Plummer Road.
The pair was then accused of self- identifying the suspects - rather than notifying police, and then took the law into their own hands to recover their stolen items which they believed to be located in a nearby house on St. Anselm Drive.
Multiple people - including two minors, claimed that both of the Jordans arrived at their homes after the burglary and then allegedly threatened them with guns.
Bail has been set at $50,000 cash for Sarah and at $90,000 cash for Edward. Both are scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
