Goffstown and Bedford police announced a new program to help drug addiction, but they are taking a different approach.

The two police departments teamed up with Hope for New Hampshire Recovery, Phoenix House New England and the Farnum Center.
The departments said they feel that the Police Partners Program will fill a gap that currently exists between law enforcement and treatment-recovery providers.
