Go to college and become a teacher

No, this isn't a trick question!

Three of the past U.S. presidents were teachers before they ran for office.

James Garfield - taught Greek and Latin and other subjects at what is now Hiram College in Ohio

Woodrow Wilson - taught at Princeton, where he pioneered a pre-law curriculum

Lyndon Johnson - taught Latino children at a segregated school in Cotulla, near San Antonio, and also at other Texas high schools: Pearsall High and Sam Houston High
