Girls at Work Inc. hosts fundraising comedy night to support its programs for girls

MANCHESTER - If you're looking for a night of comedy, Girls at Work Inc. of Manchester is offering an evening of storytelling with some award-winning humorists.

For the second year in a row, Girls at Work Inc. is inviting people to come to a comedy night that will feature comedians such as Moth and Extempo Story Slam winner Kevin Gallagher, 2015 winner of the New England Public Radio Valley Voices Grand Slam Sue Schmidt, and New Hampshire Magazine’s “Remarkable Women of the Arts” award winner Cindy Pierce.

The evening event raises funds to support Girls At Work Inc.’s after-school power tool building programs for elementary and middle school girls throughout New Hampshire and New England.

Along with the show, there will be chocolate tasting and a wine bar. General admission tickets are set at $25 if purchased online or $30 at the door, and VIP tickets are available for early entry and a seat at the front for $50.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on March 19 at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, located at 148 Concord St. in Manchester.
