Gas prices still rising in NH, northern New England

CONCORD (AP) - Gas prices are on the rise in northern New England.

The price-tracking website says the price has gone up nearly 11 cents last week in New Hampshire, averaging $1.96 a gallon.

Maine has risen 8.8 cents per gallon, to $2.04. In Vermont, the price is up 9.4 cents per gallon from last week, to $1.96.

The national average is $2.04, which increased 5.6 cents per gallon in the last week. The national average has increased 29.5 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 38.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
