Gas prices stay about the same in NH, northern New England

CONCORD (AP) — Gas prices have stayed about the same in New Hampshire and the rest of northern New England over the last week.

GasBuddy shows that the average retail price stayed the same in Maine went down half a cent, to $2.27 a gallon. In Vermont, prices went up 1.1 cents to $2.29. Prices in New Hampshire stayed the same at $2.18 a gallon.

The national average of $2.20 has fallen 2 cents a gallon in the last week. It stands 2.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
