Gas prices starting to rise in NH and northern New England

CONCORD (AP) - Gas prices are starting to rise in parts of northern New England.

The price-tracking website, says the price in Maine has risen about 3.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.81 a gallon. It's also gone up 2.5 cents a gallon in New Hampshire, to $1.70.

In Vermont, the price is up 1.5 cents per gallon from last week, to $1.83.

The national average is $1.81, which increased 6.8 cents per gallon in the last week. The national average has increased 7.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 64.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
