Gas prices going up in NH, northern New England

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gas prices are on the rise again in New Hampshire and other states in northern New England.

GasBuddy shows that the average retail price went up 3.1 cents per gallon in Vermont to $2.25 a gallon. It went up nearly 2 cents in New Hampshire to $2.13, and 1.7 cents in Maine to $2.23.

The national average of $2.22 has increased 1.5 cents in the last week. It stands 7.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
