Gas prices go up 9 cents in NH in 1 week

The Associated Press

CONCORD - Gas prices are on the rise in New Hampshire, going up 9 cents per gallon in the past week to an average of $2.12.

Gasbuddy.com, which surveyed 875 gas stations in New Hampshire, says that's 5 cents less than the national average, which went up 1,267 cents last week to $2.17 a gallon.

Gas prices in New Hampshire are nearly $1.19 per gallon lower than they were a year ago, and 14.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average increased 1.7 cents per gallon in the last month and stands nearly $1.11 a gallon less compared to a year ago.

Patrick DeHaan of GasBuddy says the pace of increases will slow, but there will be continued gas price increases over the next few weeks.
