Fugitive on the run doesn't like his mug shot, recommends police use selfie he took

An Ohio fugitive didn't like the photo police were posting of him, so he sent them the selfie he wanted to be used instead, according to the Huffington Post.

Donald A. "Chip" Pugh, 45, is wanted by Lima, Ohio, police for failure to appear in court and may be involved in several other cases.

And when this wanted man saw the pictures police were posting, he had a different one in mind.

"Man, they just did me wrong," said Pugh in a radio interview. "They put a picture that made me look like I was a Thundercat or something."

While Pugh claims he's "just having fun," Lima police responded to his statement.

"We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges," the department wrote.

And Lima police are hoping that Pugh's fun will help them find the fugitive.

"He's drawing more attention to himself, which is going to make it easier for us to locate him," said Lima police. "The more tips are going to come in about this guy."
