BOW — Acacia Woodley - the founder of Tiny Girl, Big Dream - delivered a Friendship Bench to the Bow Elementary School on Friday.
Woodley, 16, founded this organization when she was 12-years-old after being bullied for having a partially grown right arm and two fingers on her left arm.
The company produces the Friendship Bench, which is for a kid to sit on when he or she needs a friend. The idea behind the bench is when someone is sitting on it, someone else will come over to talk with them.
Woodley traveled from Florida to deliver the multi-colored double Adirondack bench made of 100% recycled plastic to the Bow Elementary School.
