Friends, family accuse baby's mother, her boyfriend in death of Alexandria 11-month-old

ALEXANDRIA – The N.H. Attorney General has called the death of an 11-month-old baby in the town of Alexandria suspicious.

When the Attorney General announced the investigation into the child’s death, numerous people began commenting to the NH1 News Facebook page and pointed at the child’s parents, for the death.

Neighbors identify Danyelle Dudley and Shawn Sylvester as the child’s parents.

But the Attorney General’s office is unable to comment on those names at this time, “I couldn’t say anything,” said Peter Hinckley, Assistant Attorney General.

Neighbors who didn’t want to be identified told NH1 News that a third person, Tom Page, the boyfriend of the child's mother, lives at the home on Fowler River Road.

Neighbors also remember seeing police at the residence on Friday.

“We saw an ambulance come by and park in the house on the corner. People put cones out on the field and it was 15 to 20 minutes later a helicopter landed,” said one neighbor.

That neighbor told us the child was immediately airlifted to a local hospital.

On Sunday, the news came from the Attorney General that the child had died. The biggest outpouring of disappointment and hurt coming from one man, Jeff Dougherty, claiming to be a family member close to the investigation. Dougherty blames the boy's mother for the death.

Dougherty shared a picture of a child with overlaying text that says "Justice for SJ." The picture was taken by Shari Lynn Photography in Rumney.

The Facebook caption reads:

“This innocent little boy has died due to his injuries and everyone including all news stations need to know what has happened to this innocent life! She has not been arrested yet and an autopsy has been scheduled. Justice needs to prevail for SJ.”

The Attorney General will not confirm if anyone was under arrest in connection to the child's death.
