Fremont police seize over 30 marijuana plants, estimated street value at $80,000

FREMONT — Fremont police located a large marijuana grow operation, and seized over 30 plants.

Police received an anonymous tip on Aug. 31 about a large scale marijuana grow operation in a heavily wooded area off of Moose Meadow Drive near the Raymond town line.

The police were able to locate the grow operation and seized over 30 plants. The plants were well-cared for, and appeared to be close to being harvested, said police.

The estimated street value of the marijuana is believed to be $80,000, police reported.

The illegal grow operation is currently under investigation.
