SEABROOK- A Donald Trump tattoo - It’s more permanent that a bumper sticker, but the owner of Clay Dragon Tattoo thinks it’d be a good gamble, since he believes Trump will become president.
Bob Holmes is willing to work for free if anyone is looking to have Trump’s name, portrait, or the campaign slogan “Make America Great Again” permanently inked on their body.
“Trump is the only one that’s giving anybody any hope to do anything different in this country,” Holmes said.
Holmes said he has never gotten interested in politics or even voted.
Now, because he’s so unhappy with our current president and the direction the country is going, he’s ready to cast his ballot for Trump.
So what do people think of a Trump tat?
“I think it’s pretty cool," said Derek Duquette of Amesbury, Mass. "I wouldn’t get one myself but I think it’s pretty cool."
Others say stick to lawn signs.
“I guess if you like the tattoo fine, but for a short political season it seems kind of silly to do that,” said Cary Kilner, of Newmarket.
“I think anybody would be a fool to get a tattoo for a paid political liar, any politician, any party, any walk of life,” said Mick Andry of Newmarket.
Holmes said he got his first request on Wednesday, and Holmes expects others will take advantage of this free offer.
“You can't take life too seriously anyway, and if it's a Trump tattoo, and if he wins which, it's going to be hard-pressed that he doesn't win because he's doing everything that no one else is doing,” Holmes said.
The offer is good at any of his shops in Seabrook or Raymond.
