Fred Fuller customers worried about Rymes taking over
CONCORD - "If that many people are being dumped on the system at once, it would be a disaster," said Norma Love, in fear that Monday's Fred Fuller buyout won't go through.
Love has been a Fred Fuller customer through all the ups and downs.
"We thought Fred Fuller was a good company for us for 20 years now," Love said.
Now Love wants to know, if Rymes oil takes over, will customers like herself get lost in the shuffle?
The attorney general's office promises, no.
"He's going to take on customers on a sooner basis than that. It's our expectation that it should be fairly seamless for customers should the transaction go according to plan," said Attorney General Joseph Foster.
Love made a few calls and heard from John Rymes, owner of Rymes Oil and Propane.
"Sunday morning, I got a call from John Rymes himself, and I was impressed. The next hour, I got a call from Meghan in customer service, and I was doubly impressed," said Love.
Rymes spoke to NH1 News by phone and outlined his plans to honor all previous customer contracts, payment plans, and deliveries.
