Freaky skull appears on Hurricane Matthew satellite image - bad omen for US?

NH1 Digital Content Manager -

Well, this could be taken as a bad omen for the U.S. as Hurricane Matthew moves closer and closer toward us.

Weather Channel senior Meteorologist Stu Ostro posted a satellite image of a “sinister-looking” skull to his Twitter account after the eye of the hurricane hit Haiti early Tuesday. And it doesn't look friendly.

The "evil smile" of the "ominous skull" seemed to freak out the social media users the most. Others thought Some Americans feared that the skull image could be a "bad omen" as the hurricane heads towards Florida and the East Coast this week.

Ostro's Twitter bio boasts he's got the best weather news on Twitter. After this image, it's hard to disagree.
