Four escape Epping fire

EPPING- The state's fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of a blaze that forced seven people from an Epping home after a fire broke out Wednesday night.

No injuries were reported from the incident where four children and two adults escaped the fire at 167 Blake Road.

Epping Deputy Fire Chief Richard Rodier, first to respond to the blaze that was called in about 7:45 p.m., reported flames were reaching up the outside of the two-story home. The fire spread into the home's kitchen and up into the second floor.

Firefighters from Raymond and Brentwood assisted the town's fire crews in extinguishing the blaze and preventing it from spreading further.
