'FOUND': Danbury police confiscate pot plants, ask owners to call about missing 'horticulture project'

DANBURY - Social media strikes again.

The Danbury police took to Facebook after finding several large marijuana plants growing on a property.

Apparently the owners weren't home.

In the post, the police offer their (not) sincerest condolences about the disappearance of the plants.

The caption with the photo read:

"FOUND.. If you get home tonight and go for a walk in the woods. And your summers horticulture project has gone and you'd like to talk to somebody about it, please feel free to give us a call. We will offer you some counseling to get through your loss.
You should have our number I left a business card."

So yeah. If you're missing your gardening project from the summer, ask the Danbury police.
