CONCORD - Could the McDonald's Happy Meal Minions be foul-mouthed?
Tuesday, a debate sparked after grandparents said the cute characters featured in their granddaughter's Happy Meal was saying a profanity.
NH1 News bought a Happy Meal and after many people listened to the minions - we agreed the minions are in fact saying two questionable phrases.
McDonald's responded and said, "Minions speak 'Minionese' which is a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds. 'Minionese' has no translation to, or meaning in any recognized language. Any perceived similarities to words used within the English language are purely coincidental."
A slip of paper that comes with the Minion says it says "para la bukay," "eh eh" and laughs.
Curious? Our raw video is below.
Take a listen, and let us know in the comments what you think the Minions are saying.
