Former youth coach, assistant teacher expected to plead guilty to sexual assault charges

CONCORD - A former youth sports coach and assistant teacher is expected to plead guilty next week on charges he sexually assaulted a teenage student.

According to the Concord Monitor, Donald Levesque, 31, is scheduled to appear at a plea and sentencing hearing in Merrimack County Superior Court on Wednesday. He is accused of sexually assaulting an underage boy repeatedly between 2013 and 2014. The boy had been a student of Levesque’s at the Shaker Road School during the 2012-13 academic year, according to police.

Levesque faces multiple charges including aggravated felonious sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and possessing child pornography.

A second former student also reported a sexual relationship with Levesque but that did not lead to charges because she was over 16.
