Former NH commissioner named recipient of Patrick Jackson award

MANCHESTER — The Yankee Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America have selected the recipient for the Patrick Jackson Award for 2017.
The Chapter has selected Van McLeod as the winner of the award which will be presented April 12 at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord. McLeod, who passed away last year, served as Commissioner of Cultural Resources in New Hampshire for 24 years and under six governors.
The Patrick Jackson Award is given to an individual outside of the public relations profession who demonstrates an understanding of public relations principle and builds relationships that lead to success for their organization and society. The purpose of the award is to recognize excellence in the practice of public relations and spotlight those with a track record of building relationships which earn trust.
The ceremony for the award presentation will be from 5:30-7 p.m. and is free for all guests who register.
