Former Nashua firefighter pleads guilty to child pornography charges
CONCORD (AP) — A New Hampshire man faces at least five years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography.
The U.S. Attorney's office says 51-year-old Stephen Cote of Derry sent an email containing child pornography to an undercover federal agent in 2013. Search warrants later turned up hundreds of images and videos of child pornography on Cote's email account and at his home.
Cote was a former Nashua firefighter and began working at Nashua fire rescue in 1996.
Cote, who pleaded guilty in federal court on Friday, is scheduled to be sentenced in September.
