Former Milford town employee registered on cheating website Ashley Madison
MILFORD – A former town employee was discovered to be one of the registered users on the cheating website Ashley Madison, that was recently hacked.
It's been known for a weeks that Milford had an address registered with the site, but on Friday the town’s information technology director confirmed it was not a current employee registered. It was a former employee.
"I'm very pleased no existing employees" were on the list, Town Administrator Mark Bender told the Nashua Telegraph.
The mayors of Nashua and Manchester are looking into the email registrations.
This comes after several NH government email addresses were listed to be part of the massive data breach.
Public officials' email domains from Manchester, Nashua and Dover are also registered.
