Flooding strands cars and closes roads in multiple NH towns

Manchester — Multiple flood warnings preceded heavy rains which closed roads and stranded cars.

The storm, which was moving toward the coast, dropped multiple inches of rain in just over an hour.

Sountheastern Strafford and Rockingham County has a flash flood warning in effect until 11:45 p.m. according to an announcement from the national weather service issued just after 9 p.m.

Nashua has been drenched by 3.2 inches of rain.

According to Nashua Police multiple roads are closed and stranded cars are being towed.

Areas in Massachusetts received over 5 inches of rain.
