'Flame of Hope' will be carried through NH leading up to Special Olympic games

MANCHESTER — The next part of the law enforcement torch run for the Special Olympics kicked off at The Mall of New Hampshire on Thursday.

The final leg of the run will leave The Mall of New Hampshire, head up to Concord and then over to Durham.

They will be carrying the "Flame of Hope" around the mall's food court and continuing through the mall past the Manchester Police Department and up to the State House to celebrate the athletes competing in this summer's games.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a running event in which every branch of state, municipal, county and federal law enforcement and friends of Special Olympics will carry the “Flame of Hope” in one of over 20 legs leading up to the 2016 State Summer Games.
