Five 50K Powerball winners in Manchester, Nashua, Salem, Merrimack and Windham

MANCHESTER - Bunny's Superette on Webster Street in Manchester was one of five stores in New Hampshire to sell a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket on Saturday.

Other winning tickets were sold at other stores in the southern tier. Those include the Nashua Shell station, Shaw's in Salem, a 7-Eleven in Merrimack and the Howie Glynn & Sons convenience store in Windham.

Powerball has gone the last 19 drawings without a jackpot winner, with the jackpot more than tripling in just two weeks. Before Saturday’s drawing, the largest Powerball jackpot was $590 million, which was won in May 2013 in Florida. It is now estimated to be around $1.3 billion.

The Powerball drawing results from January 9 were: 32-16-19-57-34 PB-13 with a Power Play of 3.

Powerball tickets for the latest drawing will be sold until 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, when the next drawing is scheduled for 11 p.m.
