CONCORD (AP) — N.H.'s growing aerospace and defense industry is planning its first conference next month.
Panel discussions will cover topics relating to export strategies at the June 10 conference at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord. The keynote speaker is Paul Kling, deputy vice president of operations and supplier partnerships for BAE Systems.
About 4 percent of New Hampshire's gross domestic product is related to aerospace and defense, the sixth highest in the nation. In 2014, exports in the aerospace sector increased more than 25 percent.
