CONCORD – A third party group that’s backing Jeb Bush’s bid for the Republican presidential nomination is going up with videos on social media starting next week as part of its push to help the former Florida governor win over millennial voters in New Hampshire.
NH1 News has learned that the Millennial Rising PAC will launch four videos over the next four weeks on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram in hopes of targeting college students across the first-in-the-nation primary state.
The group touts that the ads are unconventional, modern and upbeat.
The effort appears to be the only one by a candidate-focused super PAC that’s exclusively targeting millennials.
"As a college student, I founded the Millennials Rising PAC to engage millennials in New Hampshire and educate them on why Jeb Bush is the best candidate for issues that matter to us," PAC Founder Lucas Agnew told NH1 News.
“Jeb Bush has a proven track record of creating jobs and growing opportunities for young people. It is our goal to convey this to millennials in the Granite State, which we hope will help drive a new wave of momentum for Jeb,” Agnew added.
"We are excited for the coming month and have a lot planned for New Hampshire millennials who are inclined support Jeb," said PAC Director Michelle Goodwin. "Between the PAC's online video ads and our grassroots get-out-the-vote effort, we feel confident that we’ll turn out more millennial voters in the Primary than in years past.”
