HOOKSETT – First Lady Michelle Obama campaigns for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton today in the Granite State.

The first lady will headline a noontime rally at the field house at Southern New Hampshire University. It’s Obama’s first campaign appearance in the state this election cycle.

Obama will be joined by Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan, who’s challenging GOP Sen. Kelly Ayotte in one of the nation’s most high profile U.S. Senate showdowns.

Thursday’s event is the first lady’s first time on the campaign trail since last Friday’s release of decade old audio recordings of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump making extremely lewd comments about trying to have sex with women.

Trump returns to New Hampshire on Saturday, to hold a rally at the Toyota dealership on Route One in Portsmouth.
