Projected snow totals from Monday morning's storm

FIRST ALERT WARNING: Monday snowfall

NH1 Chief Meteorologist

Luckily, Monday morning is a day off from school and work for many, because the morning's commute will have snow covered roads.

An area of low pressure is tracking well SE of New England at dawn, with another weaker low NW of New England.

A deep upper low will swing through aloft helping to form an inverted trough right over us. This will provide enough lift in the atmosphere for a batch of moderate snow to develop and start accumulating from 6 AM through noon.

Minor accumulations of 1-3" of snow is expected with isolated 4" amounts, but it will once again be just enough to make travel slow and slippery.
