Firefighters rescue hunter from Hudson swamp

HUDSON - A hunter was resued after getting stuck in waist deep mud off Speare Road in Hudson. Initially crews had a hard time locating the hunter, thinking he was in a swamp near Kimball Hill Road.

Thanks to the Emergency 911 Center in Concord, they were able to track the cell phone call for a more exact location. Firefighters found the man about a mile into the woods.

After putting on wetsuits and pulling the hunter out of the mud, his clothes were removed and he was covered in warming blankets.

Paremedics on scene treated him for mild hypothermia.
