Fire that burns vacant house in Concord under investigation

CONCORD - A fire broke out in vacant house at 16 Norwich St. on Saturday morning and was reported by several people who saw smoke rising in the area behind the Wesley United Methodist Church.

Firefighters say they arrived at the house around 9:30 to find heavy fire from the rear of the structure. The fire was successfully extinguished and no one was injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
