Fire extinguisher used in domestic dispute in Hill
HILL - Authorities responded to an early morning domestic dispute involving a fire extinguisher Saturday.
State Troopers said they responded to Borough Hill Road in the Town of Hill for a report of a domestic assault.
Authorities said Carl Grace, 48, of New Hampton, allegedly broke into the house and assaulted his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend with a fire extinguisher.
Police said that both the ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend did sustain injuries, but refused medical treatment.
Authorities said Carl Grace then allegedly fled the scene to an undetermined location and, before leaving, he threatened to return and shoot both of them.
According to authorities Grace was operating a silver 2000 Ford F150 with a NH license plate 336-4214. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Police are charging Grace with second degree assault, burglary, simple assault and criminal threatening, and confirmed this case remains under investigation.
