KEENE - Aspiring filmmakers have the opportunity to get their short film featured at the Monadnock International Film Festival next month in Keene.

New Hampshire students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to submit their best short film to the Cave Light Scholarship Fund by April 1. The winner gets $1,000 and will have their film featured during the third annual Monadnock festival April 16-18.

The film also will be featured on the festival's website and social media pages.

Films must be shorter than 5 minutes, 1 second in length and can be on any theme or topic. Work will be judged on the quality of the story, overall production, lighting and audio, editing techniques, performances and more.
