Female fugitive injures leg jumping from a roof to evade authorities
NASHUA - A female fugitive was injured jumping from a roof in an attempt to flee from officers.
Lauren Munday, 28, was wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants, including one for probation violations resulting from a conviction for first-degree assault. The second warrant was issued by New Hampshire State Police for being a material witness in a high-profile investigation and failing to appear.
Acting on a tip, Nashua Police went to a Main Street apartment looking for Munday. She attempted to flee by jumping off a roof and seriously injured her leg, police said.
She is in custody at a local hospital, officials said.
